It seems that there are ongoing developments concerning Manchester United winger Antony’s personal life. His girlfriend, Gabriela Cavallin, has alleged that the 23-year-old Brazilian winger assaulted her while she was pregnant. She claims that he damaged her breast implant, cut her finger with a glass, and even threatened to eject her from a speeding vehicle.
Cavallin, who is a DJ and influencer, has taken legal action by filing a complaint against Antony with Greater Manchester Police. She has accused him of four instances of domestic violence, causing bodily harm, and making threats. These alleged incidents occurred in Sao Paulo in June.
In response to these accusations, Antony issued a statement on the evening of September 4, vehemently denying the charges. He expressed, “I can confidently state that these accusations are untrue.” He acknowledged that his relationship with Ms. Gabriela was tumultuous, marked by verbal conflicts from both sides, but he firmly denied any involvement in physical aggression. Antony expressed his trust in the ongoing police investigations to unveil the truth and clear his name.
Cavallin has asserted that Antony placed her in a car and subjected her to repeated attacks while she was pregnant. She claimed that he threatened to force her out of the speeding vehicle during a vacation they took in Brazil in June 2022.
The final alleged attack, as she described it, took place on May 8 when Antony reportedly threatened her with a glass, resulting in her sustaining a finger injury while trying to defend herself. This incident ultimately led to her return to Brazil. She shared her emotions, stating, “I knew I had to leave, but I couldn’t. I was very attached to the beginning of our relationship, to the way he treated me initially. On that last day [May 8], it was very severe, and I was genuinely afraid that I wouldn’t be able to leave the house.”
Cavallin further explained, “I don’t recall the exact cause of the argument, but it was related to someone I had been involved with years ago.” She recounted, “He struck me in the chest, and my silicone implant was dislodged.” This led her to return to Brazil for surgery to replace the prosthesis. She quoted Antony as saying, “‘I didn’t intend to hurt you, it was accidental. It wasn’t a punch; I simply pushed you, held you against the wall.'”
