Popular Nollywood actor cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo has called for the resignation of the governor of Enugu State, Peter Mbah.

Mbah had subsequently sued the NYSC and Muhammad for publishing a disclaimer, denying the issuance of the discharge certificate issued to him on 6 January 2003.
Sharing his thoughts on the situation, Okonkwo opined that in a saner country, Mbah would have resigned honourably.
Speaking via Twitter, the Labour Party stalwart argued that the governor ungentlemanly behaviour has portray the people of Enugu in a bad light.
He pleaded with him to resign before he is disgraced out of office.
He wrote, “In a saner clime, now that NYSC has testified that Peter Mbah’s NYSC Certificate is fake, he would resign honourably and not wait to be disgraced out.
“I am pained that this ungentlemanly behaviour of Peter Mbah will continue to paint the citizens of Enugu State in bad light.
“I respectfully plead with Peter Mbah to immediately resign and save our people from this collective shame.”
